Richard T. Soukup, 53, Clearfield, died Friday, at Altoona Regional Health System in Altoona.
Born Jan. 12, 1958, in Seaford, Del., he was a son of Thomas R. Soukup and June Entwistle Soukup-Campbell.
He was married to Vicki Burkett Soukup April 19, 1986, at Trinity United Methodist Church in Clearfield. She survives.
He was a graduate of Seaford High School and later Salisbury University with a degree in communications. He was best known locally as the radio announcer "Rick McKay" while employed with WCPA-WQYX. He was a photo lab manager at Eckard Pharmacy in DuBois and was most recently employed by Progressive Business Publications in DuBois. He also owned his own photography business, which he operated in the Clearfield-DuBois Area, and taught photography classes at the Clearfield County Career and Technology Center.
He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Clearfield.
He is also survived by his stepfather, Thomas Campbell of Wilmington, Del.; one sister, Beth (Frank) Strakonsky of Frederick, Md.; and one niece.

SOUKUP: Richard T., Clearfield, died Jan. 21, 2011. Friends will be received from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home Inc. in Clearfield.
